Sigma DP2 Merrill images
This is a miscellaneous collection of DP2 Merrill images. Sigma Foveon based cameras have their issues but the unusual Foveon Merrill sensor provides strong microcontrast which emphasises textures in some images in a way that even higher resolution conventional sensors can't always match. This makes it a good choice for images where punchy rendition of fine texture is key to the composition.
