Appendix: Additional crops
What am I looking at, here?
These are reduced versions of the three comparisons on the 24 x 16 inch print page. These smaller versions should approximate more closely the experience of viewing the actual prints with the naked eye (without the loupe effect).

What am I looking at, here?
This is a comparison crop from a pair of the 19 x 13 inch prints. In this one the crops show a larger area than the original crops. It provides slightly more view to compare and a bit of context.

What am I looking at, here?
This is a comparison crop from a pair of the 19 x 13 inch prints. See ringed area on the full image to locate the crop. This crop has been selected because Erik noticed that the Kodak retains a trace more fine detail.
Two versions of the scan are provided:
- A 100ppi downsize which displays onscreen at approximately the size of the print viewed with the naked eye
- A 600ppi scan which is equivalent (appproximately) to examining the print with a 6x loupe.
I can't see any difference in the 19 x 13 inch prints personally, but there is a theoretical difference so the crops are supplied for completeness.
Sigma first, Kodak second.
